Skagit County Fairgrounds

Indoor carpet racing

Location:  501 Taylor St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 – (enter via south gate)

The club runs carpet Oval and On-road racing inside Building F at the Skagit County Fairgrounds October to March.

The track is made from an elevated wooden platform with a performance low pile carpet covering.  The building is heated and kept at a comfortable temperature for light clothing.  The track itself is set up to alternate between the oval and on-road tracks.  The building is a hollow shell so there are no pre-constructed pit tables.

Oval racing is held on scheduled Friday nights – doors open by 4:00p, racing begins at 7p.

On-road racing is held on scheduled Saturdays – doors open at 8a, racing begins at 10:30a.

Special events at both tracks may include multiple days and differing hours.
